I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Volvo S80 with just 93k original miles. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Silver Metallic over Graphite leather interior, which is a good color combination. The silver finish shines nicely for its age and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Volvo. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber. Tire tread is on the thin side of average. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Volvo came in. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show well for their age. As you can see in the photos, the arm rest is worn and the cup holder is broken...both are pretty much standard features of an older S80. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat all work properly. The sunroof does not work. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the drive and passenger. It is too cold out to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but I can tell you that the heater works well. The trunk is spacious, too. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Volvo S80 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.9L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. I can feel some age in the bushings, which is common for an S80 at this age. Steering and braking feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. I don't get many of these anymore, but I love this first generation of S80. You get a lot of car for your money. The 2.9L inline six is a great engine, the car is a perfect size and it is loaded with luxury and safety features. If you're looking for a low mileage luxury sedan, this S80 deserves a close look.
