For sale is a 1999 BMW 540it -Wagon. 186K Miles Very strong engine, had timing chain Kit- chain, guides, rails, tensioner & valve cover gaskets replaced at 177K miles / June 2018 Engine light is on for DTML pump (evap system non performance) Coolant level sensor & outside temp sensor bad E brake is not working*** New rear brakes Front drivers side wheel hub makes noise occasionally- may need replacing Sold "as is"

CAR ACTS LIKE ITS GONNA START BUT DIES CHECKING I FOUND WASNT ENOUGHT FUEL IN THE RAIL; THINK ITS JUST A BAD RELAY AND COUPLE COIL PACKS NOT 100% SURE WAS TOLD IT RUNS NEVER GOT THAT FAR WITH IT.. (FIXING IT) BEGING SOLD AS IS DOESNT RUN AS IT SITS! NO BATTERY! CLEAN ON THE INSIDE FOR 1999 MODEL FULLY LOADED SUNROOF ETC. I DONT KNOW THE MILEAGE JUST PUTING WHATS ON THE TITLE

Thank you for looking. Car purchased in May 2018. I will try to state all the info I know about the car, good and bad. After purchased I replaced the following, all tires, brake pads and sensors, MAF sensor, radiator, expansion tank, cap, thermostat, only use BMW coolant. The front windshield is cracked and rear cargo door does not stay open, shocks needed. The ABS/DSC light is on. Keys need to be reprogrammed, one opens and the other starts the car. No sound comes out of the radio. Car drives very well and has cold A/C. In the last two months, engine temp has started to climb towards the red randomly about 5 times. I have not let it overheat but do not know the cause. Car can be looked at in person if desired.
