When I originally purchased this car, My plan was to acquire a reliable but attractive daily driver. After starting the project I developed a passion for the car. Following the initiation of the venture MSNBC aired a special titled "BMW A Driving Obsession" this took it a step further. I felt it would be a disrespect to BMW to build less than a perfect car. My first goal was to remedy the OEM Cooling issues with the Z series, this was resolved by upgrading the thermostat, thermostat housing and contracting Zionsville Motorsports to custom build an All Aluminum Radiator to OEM Specs. Then I started to make plans for modifications to achieve the desired appearance. I won't bore you with the details. $43,000.00 dollars later.. The photos tell the rest of the story. I spared no expense while assembling this fine piece of BMW History, but due to recent changes in my life I will be offering the car for sale. I have a 1998 bmw z3 for sale. I have loved this car and have religiously taken care of it with oil changes and washing it monthly. However a engine light has come on it’s for the camshaft sensor and if you buy it I will include that part in the sale. It has its original radio in it but doesn’t power on I think it just needs to be plugged in but it requires a special bmw tool to remove the radio. The soft top isn’t in amazing condition but it doesn’t leak and still looks presentable. Brand new tires are on it with less then 100 miles and I had a tune up done on it recently. The car has never given me problems other then this engine light and it still has a year of tags left. Also has a clean car fax which will be provided in person. I had a new top on it and have kept a towel over the back window when its put down to keep it from being scratched. Top still looks new. I had the seats reupholstered and still look new. 18" BMW wheels and wider rear tires with offset. Gives it a aggressive look and make better traction. New BT radio and sub. I still have the original radio. Front tires about 300 miles ago rear are about 50%. Brake calipers were painted red professionally. Conforti shark tune engine software which comes with it. Custom magnflow exhaust with x pipe for a great sound. Front cross strut bar to keep body sway to a min. It has a top boot cover. 2000 2.5 m52tu i6 5 speed z3 Just inspected last week good until 3/20 Racing Dynamics RGR 17in rims. These are time period correct ordered from a BMW catalog forged Italian rims. Kw v3 coilovers with adjustable height, dampening, and rebound with 8k miles on them. These are $3k coilovers not cheap junk ones. Clutch is good with upgraded braided lines. Air bag light on. Top is 1 year old. Repainted a year ago. Arkansas Car no rust. Brand new Michelin premier tires. New bushings front and rear.
