For sale is a 2005 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 high roof 158” wheel base model T1N extended bay cargo van. This particular van was tagged, titled, and sold as a Freightliner Sprinter but all the Sprinter vans (Mercedes, Dodge, and Freightliner) were made by Mercedes. The engine is a 2.7L inline 5 cylinder turbo diesel with a 5 speed automatic transmission, and averages around 22 miles per gallon fuel economy. The engine starts without issue as soon as the glow plug indicator switches off, even when temperatures are below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. The van has approximately 95,000 miles at the moment, no warning or check engines lights are active, and there are no outstanding mechanical issues. The van’s original color was white but it was painted red by a prior owner, and while the exterior paint job was done well the body is still white under the trim panels. The underside of the van has surface rust but no areas of penetration and the following sections are in poor shape but completely functional: the underside lip of the engine hood, the rear driver’s side cargo door, and the floor of the rear cargo bay at the rear doors. The tires have 3-4000 miles on them.
