Hi all....Now that I have retired, I've decided to sell my 2 owner, Silver 2004 MT Insight daily driver! This car has been totally and completely maintained and everything works! It has 238,621+/- miles on it right now and doesn't use a drop of oil! I would hop in this car and drive it anywhere without concerns.The paint and interior are in average condition for it's age, No rips or tears in the seats. The drivers side carpet has a tear due to age, but I've had floormats in it since I bought it! The transmission was completely rebuilt to repair the downshift gear grind and popping out of gear problems! I bought it 4 years ago and love it. Moving up to full electric Bolt! Dealer maintained, New Bumblebee battery n 2017. New headlights, Kenwood radio with 4 speakers and blue tooth, thermometer and clock, new tires the front last year.

Blue 2012 HONDA INSIGHT Base, one owner - I am the original owner. The car has NEW ENGINE replaced under warranty recall by Honda authorized service at 84000 miles (the new engine has only about 15000 miles on it). This is a hybrid and I averaged 40 mpg on it. The car is very clean and was meticulously serviced with service history on hand. TSW black rims installed, tires have plenty of thread on them (were rotated regularly). 2001 HONDA INSIGHT BLUE WRAPPED 5 SPEED AC 162K MI 70 MPG!!!!!2001 Honda Insight Blue Wrapped 5 Speed 162,180 miles. Air Conditioner. I have owned 45 Honda Insights and I'm selling 2 at the moment and both of these cars are as rust free as they come. Looks like they are right out of CA. Fasteners look new. None better. No problems. Drive anywhere. 5 speed transmission works perfectly and no downshifting synchro noise. No noises at all. IMA battery appears to be strong. I have driven this over the last month and it stays at full. Freshly charged and discharged and charged this battery should last a long time. Grid charger harness included as all of these cars should be grid charged frequently. YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY YOUR OWN GRID CHARGER FOR APPX $350 FROM HYBRIDAUTOMOTIVE.COM. Of course the harness is installed and you should grid charge all insights on an as needed basis. Charging and discharging will be discussed with the new owner upon pickup. Interior- above average.These seats were custom made for this car and are in excellent condition. Cost of $1200 for these leather seats with blue stitching to match the exterior. The carpets were freshly shampooed. The carpets on this car are very nice. Very little wear. Exterior- very good. I'd say an 8 out of 10. Numerous scratches and scrapes as wrap was done appx 2 years ago. Still in very good condition. I have some material left that will be given to new owner. It took the previous owner and his wife one full week to wrap this car and materials were several hundred dollars. Dont expect a perfect exterior. Again its very nice but not perfect. The car was originally blue and you can see the original color in the engine bay and door jams but this wrap really stands out. Underneath- above average. All underneath body panels intact. Engine compartment-above average. Had this professionally detailed. I must say that this car has "GREAT BONES". These cars are aluminum with aluminum frames but I frequently see the fasteners (bolts) covered in rust. Not on this car. This car has exceptionally clean fasteners. They look new. No check engine lights, tranny purrs as it should for low miles, motor fires right up and sounds great. Should last easily for another 200,000-300,000 mi. Oil and Filter - just changed. Ready to go. This car is great for fuel economy. A friend of mine in Las Vegas achieved over 100 MPG on a tank of gas (10 gal tank 1000+ mi). In temperatures of 95-100+ degrees he would drive with the windows up, no a/c of course and get huge mpg. But he's a little nuts...and so am I. Just shows you what can be achieved with these cars. Great cars if you drive a lot or if you are just frugal. I'm neither. I just like the look of the car and want to be as gas independent as I can without getting too nuts. Car also goes into auto-stop easily which is where the engine shuts off when idling and starts instantaneously when you step on the gas. This helps your mpg greatly and some Insights don't lean burn easily or go into auto-stop. You guys buying these cars with bad tranny's and IMA's (battery pack) will be faced with possible repairs of $4k or more. This car is done. Tranny purrs. Nice performing IMA that was recently charged. Get in, drive and send me a thank you after you have the car. Money was no issue in making this the best that it can be. No corners cut. No issues. PERIOD. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car. I'm appx 20 miles NW of Indianapolis, IN and you can fly in to IND (Indianapolis, IN airport) and I'll meet you at the airport and you can drive home. Anywhere including Timbucktoo. This car is ready to go. I am not a dealer but a retired doctor/enthusiast that has over 50 of these cars that I enjoy working on. I'm not going to sell a car and then have you give me a negative for whatever reason as I have many more to go. But as of now just this one for sale. No sight seers of "InsightWorld" as I'm too busy enjoying what I do. Here to sell a great car for a great price. Where else can you get a car that can go 70 MPG's and has NO problems with a great battery and tranny for "low dough DeNiro"? I am selling this "as is" with no warranties expressed or implied.
