Having covered a mere 24,980 documented miles from new, this SLK left the Mercedes-Benz German factory in February of 1999 and invoiced to Mercedes-Benz North America where Escondido Motors Ltd would sell the car to its first owner on April 16, 1999. The SLK is a Southern CA car since day one and has seen excellent maintenance...and storage since day one. The Brilliant Silver Metallic paint is in outstanding condition (a few small paint defects on the front hood). All of the exterior black trim is near spotless and shows like it is almost new. The original factory rims still have their original polished finish. The interior is in outstanding condition showing almost no signs of wear. The driver seat bolster shows minor creasing. The dash and center console is practically unmarked and the carbon fiber dash is in excellent condition. The Supercharged engine runs and drives very well and has great power. The transmission is very smooth along with the brakes and suspension. Everything feels tight and solid as it should. All of the power options are functioning correctly including the retractable hardtop, windows, locks and mirrors.
