This is our cherished VW Camper. It is in very good condition and don't let the miles fool you - just about everything that could be rebuilt or replaced has been and we wouldn't hesitate to take it on a trip anywhere. Most recently, we replaced the master brake cylinder and auxiliary engine fan, but most of the stuff that can wear out has been replaced by us or by the previous owner within the last 10,000 miles. We added keyless entry, HD radio and have a number of spare parts (like an ignition switch and seat release) that we'll include. . Our VW technician says this is the strongest engine of all the Eurovan Campers or Rialtos he works on. The truth is - its a blast to drive. Plenty of power and maneuverability. It has a beautiful oak wood floor in lieu of the more mundane carpet, and the stove, refrigerator, furnace, sink all work like they are supposed to. AC blows ice cold - we're in the hot south so that's important. It's not perfect - I'd say the body is an 8 out of 10 - there are some flaws if you look closely but as you can see from the photos the van looks great. If you know what these vans are then you pretty much have the whole story. You also know that a fully restored van would cost much much more. We've taken the mileage and title history into consideration for pricing. The only reason we are selling is because we are planning on moving and we have too much to move and want to set aside some $$$. (Plus one of our older dogs gets car sick on long trips and that sort of defeats the point so we haven't taken a trip in awhile). For clarity, we are aware of the history of this vehicle. According to the previous owner, they hit a guardrail and damaged the front right fender area but the van was insured as a conventional (and much cheaper) regular Eurovan so the insurance company wrote it off because of the cost of the repair versus its supposed value at the time. It was bought back and he replaced the fender since nothing underneath was damaged. That required a rebuilt title in his state. Our Louisiana title is a clear title - it is NOT a salvage or rebuilt title. We have had no issues related to that history - its just a great EV that we've continued to improve as we've owned it.
