I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...  I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an exceptionally clean 1994 Volvo 850 sedan with just 125k miles. I would rate the exterior of this 850 to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. If you follow my auctions, you'll know that I rarely give the "excellent" rating to any vehicle. I reserve that for the most extraordinary examples. As you can see, this 850 is in amazing condition for its age. The Green finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this sedan. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean this Volvo 850 came in. I would also rate the interior of this Volvo to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The worst I can say about the interior of this Volvo is that the headliner is a little loose in the rear, which is pretty much a standard feature with age. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. This Volvo appears to have spent most of its life in a garage. Not only do the dash and rear deck show no cracks...they're not even faded! The audio system is original and will need the radio code to play. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. It was freezing cold and raining on the day I road tested this Volvo, so I cannot confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but the heater works well. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Volvo came in. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The engine feels smooth and runs quietly. As I mentioned earlier, it was pouring rain when I road tested this Volvo so I didn't get any top speed runs in while I was on the highway, but she felt stable doing 60 or 70 in the rain. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Pride in ownership shows throughout this 854. If you've been looking for an exceptionally clean, low mileage, early 850...this is your chance to grab one of the nicest 850's I've come across in quite some time.
