I bought the car from a local gentleman with 45,000 original miles on it. The car was bone stock and was extremely clean when I purchased it back in October of 2016. Unfortunately, it wasn't to the quality or customization I was used to. So, I took the car to Sound Performance in Bensenville, IL for a complete ground-up rebuild. We dis-assembled the entire car. We either replaced or cleaned and powdercoated virtually every component on the car. The front subframe, sway bars, suspension components, transmission housing, gear box, etc. You can tell by the pictures it is basically a brand new car. Exterior: The car was completely stripped and reworked to perfection by Golden Hammer body shop in Iowa. He has done numerous Supra's over the years and was the perfect fit for the quality we were striving for. The front fenders had some filler it them, so due to the level of quality we were taking this Supra to, we decided to replaced them with OEM replacements. I still have the original fenders with the VIN's still attached to them. The car was done in Porsche Sapphire Blue Metallic paint and wet sanded/buffed to perfection. Interior: The interior we wanted to appear to be stock with the exception of the ProEFI display mounted in the dash. The leather has been replaced on all the seats (front and rear), the door panels were replaced with hard to find practically new OEM panels. New black Supra floor mats were installed. Absolutely everything was either completely redone or replaced (shifter boot, console, knobs, emergency brake handle, etc). The original steering wheel was also replaced with a newer 1998 TRD version. We also updated the stereo and door speakers with an aftermarket version. Insured/ Registered in Canada Condition of the Car Original Paint- There is a few paint chips and scratches, overall in good shape. The hood has some clear coat fading, but fairly minimal. In addition, the hood has a pin size dent. Engine runs extremely well. Transmission shifts great. Clutch in great shape.
