This is a partially completed 2.5 TDI Eurovan MV 5 speed swap. It started out as a V6 Automatic Eurovan with a bad transmission. I got a 2.5 TDI + 5 speed manual swap from Dutch Auto Parts and have partially completed the swap. My landlord wants it gone, however. It has the fold out bed and table and is cosmetically in very good condition. The current status:The 2.5 TDI is mounted in place with the transmissionPedal cluster with clutch pedal is mounted.Manual shifter lever is in place, but not connected. Old wiring harness is out.Axles/CV joints in place and spinning.Timing belt done with new belt, tensioner, and water pump.Exhaust pipe connected to the engine Fill restrictor removed from tank Still to do:WiringCoolingFuelAttach shifterEtc... 2001 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper Van This van has 20K miles on it since a major overhaul. The van now has 168K miles on it. This Eurovan started life as a regular van. The Winnebago camper part was added at Automotive International Corp. in Dallas, TX (they have done stretch limo's). The complete interior was removed at this time and the walls were insulated. A beautiful hardwood floor was added, stained in a teak and holly style. The floor has mounting points for a third row seat. Feel free to ask questions. Van is available for viewing in Dallas, TX. During the rebuild the following items were done. -Brand new factory VW engine installed, 201HP 24 valve. -Rebuilt transmission with lifetime warranty on valve body. -External transmission cooler added. -New CV axles -rebuilt calipers -new wheel bearings -new upper and lower ball joints. -new tie rods -skylight resealed. -16" Aluminum wheels with the larger brakes. -Drivers seat has been converted to an electric seat. -Hardwood floor stained in a teak and holly style -New igniter for gas fridge. -Fiamma F45 plus awning. -Fire extinguisher. -The factory curtains, one dinning table, fridge, stove, sink, swiveling passenger seat, cabinets, and camper items are there and work.
