ABOVE RANGE on autocheck!there's over $5k in just brakes, suspension and wheels.. dont get me started on all the iPd hardware!volvo/european parts are *extremely expensive.. car is already manual swapped cleanly with all OEM components right down to the correct shift knob and boot for T-5R (you'd never know it was ever automatic).front bumper on these cars are discontinued and highly sought after as well..the only flaws are the clearcoat has flaked so the paint aint great (very common on these cars) and front bumper has some scratches on the bottom.title in hand.

Up for auction is a 1997 Volvo 850 T5 Wagon. It has 203,327 miles. I originally purchased the car to part out, but decided I would let it go as a whole since it is repairable and these vehicles are hard to come by in a turbo wagon. I purchased it at a Copart Auto Auction, where it was being sold by State Farm Insurance. I have a salvage title in hand. Salvage titles are transferred not by the DMV but by me signing the back of the title over to you. If you plan on rebuilding this vehicle, know your state laws on salvage titles. Here in Alabama, there are four primary types of titles. Clear, rebuilt, salvage, and non-repairable. Clear is the normal title, Rebuilt means it used to be salvage, but has been rebuilt, inspected by the state, and is road ready. Salvage is for cars where the structural integrity of the car was not compromised in the wreck, and they can be rebuilt in the future. Non-repairable are for wrecks so bad they can never be put back on the road. To get this car back on the road in Alabama, you would have to either rebuilt it yourself and keep receipts and photos working out a deal with a licensed rebuilder to have it inspected under them, or take it to a licensed rebuilder and have them do the work there. If you don't live in Alabama, then absolutely none of this applies. Your state laws will govern what it takes to put a repairable vehicle back on the road. I'm not a legal expert, so please do you own homework. As for the car itself, it looks like it was hit just above the front bumper/passenger side fender. It obviously wrinkled the hood, side fender, mirror, damaged the front grille area where the horn is, and punctured the radiator. The front bumper looks to not have been impacted other than having some scratches on it from impact. With this car sitting so low, it must have slid up under something. The residue you see on the front sides of the car were from tape that was holding the hood down. Aside from the wreck impact, I noticed that one tire doesn't hold air very long and there is a small hole in the driver seat (shown in photos). Other than that, I haven't tried to operate it, so I'm unaware if any other conditions exist. This would make an excellent parts car if you have one of these, or if you want to part out a rare 90s luxury wagon with some high dollar parts, or if you have the skills you can put it back on the road.
